Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Sealous. Please read them before you create an account or use the service.

Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Sealous, you agree to these terms. If you use Sealous on behalf of a company, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms for that company. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The service

Sealous is a marketplace that connects B2B companies ("businesses") with vetted freelance sales development representatives ("SDRs") who book qualified sales meetings on a pay-per-meeting basis. Businesses post campaigns with a bounty per qualified meeting; approved SDRs select campaigns and book meetings; businesses then review and confirm those meetings.

Sealous operates the marketplace and facilitates the connection between businesses and SDRs. SDRs are independent freelancers. They are not employees of Sealous or of the businesses they work with.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. Accounts are intended for business use. Sealous reviews and approves accounts before they can fully use the service, and approval is at our discretion.

Business obligations

  • Provide accurate company and campaign information.
  • Set a clear, honest definition of what counts as a qualified meeting.
  • Pay valid bounties for meetings that meet the agreed criteria.
  • Do not request meetings you have no intention of honouring, and do not misuse SDR or prospect data.

SDR obligations

  • Keep your profile accurate, including your experience, languages, and audition recordings.
  • Book only genuine meetings with real prospects that match the campaign criteria.
  • Do not fabricate meetings, misrepresent prospects, or use spam or deceptive outreach.
  • Follow the laws that apply to your outreach and to personal data, including the GDPR and anti-spam rules.

Qualified meetings and payment

A meeting an SDR submits stays pending until the business reviews it. The bounty is payable only when the business confirms the meeting as qualified; if the business declines it, no bounty is owed. Businesses pay the agreed bounty per confirmed meeting, and Sealous facilitates the marketplace and may retain a platform fee.

Sealous does not currently collect payment card data. If and when payment processing is added, it will be handled by a third-party payment processor. Where there is a dispute about whether a meeting is qualified, Sealous reviews it and decides in good faith.

Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

  • fabricate, pad, or double-count meetings;
  • use spam, deceptive, or otherwise non-compliant outreach;
  • misrepresent your identity, your company, or a prospect;
  • scrape, resell, or otherwise misuse data from the platform;
  • attempt to bypass Sealous in order to avoid fees;
  • interfere with, disrupt, or attack the service.

Account approval and suspension

Sealous vets both businesses and SDRs. We may approve, reject, suspend, or remove any account at our discretion, including where we suspect fraud, fake meetings, or a breach of these terms. We may withhold payment for meetings that we find to be fraudulent or not genuinely qualified.

Disclaimers

Sealous is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee any particular number of meetings, meeting outcomes, deals, or revenue. SDRs are independent freelancers, and Sealous is not responsible for their conduct beyond operating the marketplace and the vetting process. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sealous is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or revenue, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid to Sealous in the three months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make a material change, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Sealous after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Lithuania and applicable EU law. Disputes are subject to the competent courts of Lithuania, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
